I've got lot's to show and tell so don't interrupt me! Did I mention HG is big...when Don Henly said "everything, all the time", he was talking about here. Yesterday, we went to a temple on a ding ding...
...or a tram...WHATEVER, don't interrupt! So the temple had a tree growing right out of the wall...
...temple looked like this...
...little old lady sitting on the temple steps looked like this...
...Casstonto drawing a picture in the temple looked like this...
...palm tree next to the temple looked like that...
...interesting walkway going there looked like this...
...and an unfortunate name for a very expensive condo was named that...
...more wild buildings like this...
...and the Armani store looked like that...
Today was totally different...little old lady in front of the temple looked like this...
...and the fishing boats looked like that...
...the front of the floating restaurant looked like this...
...and the back looked like that...
...anyway, you get the point...here's the rest...
The last one is the 200 y/o woman jig fishing! Best for last...Alexa and Tristan on the boat!
I might add to this post if we go out tonight...but right now I'm the only one not asleep!

Alexa and Tristan try to kill us...
Sad but true, really. Oh they said..."the climb to the peak...we did it in 45 minutes...piece of cake!" I knew we were in trouble when we came across the base camp just a half a block from their condo. This is what we came up to get to the base camp...
...and just outside of the base camp was this sign...
They outfitted us with gear...
...and pointed us up the mountain...
...it became abundantly clear that this was a hit! Yes, Alexa and Tristan were trying to KILL US!!!!! You see the brown triangle at the bottom left of the photo up there...ya...that's where I blew out the groin muscle...and NOT the way I wanted!!! I hobbled along...after all, "piece of cake...45 minutes" kept running through my head! Well, 2 days later...yesterday for you because you are not here...we hit the summit. The weather sucked this far up, so we took the tram down. Oh f#*$ off...I know it sounds easy now, but it's not!!! Anyway, on the final leg, we met a nice old couple in their 90's who had done it in 40 minutes...rehydrating I think...
Casstonto about to board the tram...
As we reentered civilization, we saw big buildings...
Then I died...hahahahahahahaha...you should be so lucky!

First day in Hong Kong...would that make me King Kong?
This place is really coooooool! It's like New York city on steroids...that includes how much things cost!
First, they make everything out of bamboo...
...it seems they make spaghetti skyscrapers...tall and thin. Alexa and Tristan live pretty much right dowtown...that green bamboo thing is about a half a block away. So when I got up yesterday morning, it was 8am Hong Kong time, 4pm Vancouver time, and if I'd known what planet I was on, I'm sure it would have been an altogether different time. I went out on the balcony and got the green thing shot, then looked down the road and got this one...
...just a butcher dragging a pig carcass across the sidewalk...welcome to Hong Kong! Tristan was our guide for the first day, and took us somewhere on the subway, taxi, and on foot...I have no idea where we were, but this is what we saw...
...that building with the gold insert will show up again at night...
...I think the last building is some sort of hotel...but it could be someones former residence...
...a little tacky, but not as tacky as this necklace! Imagine, Casstonto didn't want it!
We were down by the water at that point...
...and took the Star ferry back to somewhere over there. There is that building again...
When we got off at the dock, Tristan pointed out the 118 story building back where we came from...and said that's where Alexa's office is! We are going there sometime...shit, I need a drink!
Back to the condo for a bit of a rest, then off for a massage. Some little Thai girl kicked the crap out of me for an hour, and it only cost $25...SUCH A DEAL!!! It gets dark about 6:30 here, so after dinner, we walked down to the water, past that old hotel or something...
...and BEHOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I missed the laser light show they shoot off every night at 8:00pm, but will get to see it from the bar on the 118th floor of Alexa's building sometime. Now it's time to hike up some damned mountain, and die!

Tokyo...for an hour and a half...
The Dreamliner is what they call it...made out of plastic my buddy Dave says. Ya well, a 787 is what it is...nice roomy toilets, and the coolest windows you've ever seen! You could dial in the opacity like glasses that darken in the sun. You can see how dark the windows behind the seats are...all with no blinds!!! Once we got up to 41000 feet, they darkened all of the windows...but it was like we were wearing sunglasses!
Here is what we saw when they are untinted...
So we snuggled into our pods with our noise cancelling headphones...
...and enjoyed some big screen (for an airplane anyway) entertainment!
I may have had a drink or two...some...let's just say SOME! It really was cool...when you are up that high you can almost see the curve of the earth!
...and when they tinted the windows, it got damned near psychedelic!
After 9 hours of flying we got to Tokyo...now we have to get to the gate for Hong Kong...and maybe a few more drinks! hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
