Essaouira by the sea

We lost 4 of our group cuz they arent fancy like we are!!! Patty and Don, Sharon and Trevor went other places, and we continued on! 8 of us had a farewell dinner in Marrakech the night before...

We left Marrakech early in the morning, in a new van, with a new driver that seems to want to break the land speed record! Essaouira is on the west coast of Morocco...finally sunny and warm! We get here about 1pm and check into our rooms right on the beach! Pretty fancy...

Did I mention that the hotel is right on the beach?

I forgot...on the drive from Marrakech we stopped by this old abadoned house...

Imagine the lives that have lived there...Anyway, once we got there, it was time for lunch...we went to the fish market to buy some fish...the cats and the seagulls loved it there!

Went to a little restaurant where they cooked up the fish...

We have 2 days left in Morocco...18 days have gone by very quickly, but TLD will be glad to get home. Back to snowy Toronto, and rainy Vancouver...but Canada is a pretty good landing place. We have a day off today...maybe the rooftop bar, and watch the sun go down...or a nap!
