Ladies and gentlemen, we are leaving Funkytown!

Yes, it's true...

I didn't know the name of this place was Funkytown, but that's ok!  Tonight we head off to Delhi, as I mentioned before, in the TLD limo.  It will be hard to leave our hotel behind...

In between downpours, I went out among my people, and found these two...

...and of course this junior Sherpa in training...I found out his name was Munchalot Kraker...

...you can't see it in this photo, but he was carrying a 50 lb pack.  On another note, I have made it clear that I am traveling with the Ray Charles of Photography...a maroon by the name of Dave.  He also has a blog with lots of photos...some of them don't have his thumb in front of the lens.  You can see it here:  http://indiablog2019.blogspot.com/2019/

More from Delhi in the morning!

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH....the lap of luxury, as it should be!

It was moving day today...and although I don't know exactly where we've gone, it is somewhere down in the valley below Dharmashala.  I have people to worry about where I am, so it frees me up to drink!  Drinking isn't as easy here...swallowing is still easy, but finding a good bottle of hooch is more difficult.  What to do, what to do?  Anyway, we went to a new hotel where the beautiful Anne, Dave the blind photographer, and TLD have a big, luxurious suite!  This is what it looks like on the outside....

We are in the penthouse...aka the second floor.

I didn't get a chance to photograph the room before Dave "Ray Charles" messed it up.  Anne adds nothing but beauty...it's Beauty and the Beast in real life...and boy can he fart!  Anyway, it's a nice suite...we deserve it...with the exception of Dave "Blind Melon Chitlin'"!  Outside the front door were these flowers...red ones...I have people to tell me what the are if I want to know.  Just in time a bee did a buzz-by...

...and right after that, one of the groupies from the TLD fanclub walked by the temple they have erected to me...

Last night we had the best Masala Dosa's...I couldn't cram it in fast enough!  Anne and I split 3 big beers, but she drank most of it.  Tomorrow night we head back to Delhi in the fan club limo...more then!

Dharamshala

So after a bit of a trying trip, and some bullshit on the part of the Holiday Inn Express (I want my millions of fans to boycott Holiday Inn Express), I arrived in Dharamshala on a beautiful evening...

Yeow...those are the f'n Himalayas right f'n there.  Good thing I'm wearing Depends!  Anyway, I got my taxi and off I went to my hotel!  After a 45 minute drive, my nice driver dropped off in front of a rather dark looking hotel...ya, it's the right place alright...looks just like the photos, only darker.  Hmmmm...well, go up the stairs..."hey, is this place open?" I said to the guy next door.  "Nope" he said.  WTF?  He said he would make a call for me...a few minutes later this guy came up and said "Are you the internationally famous Lone DeRanger?"  Yes, I said shyly...because I am, if nothing else, modest.  He jabbered on about something involving the government shutting down a bunch of hotels...I explained that I have little people who handle that for me, not really knowing what the hell he was talking about.  He ordered a stretch limo for me, and took me to the sister hotel, and ensconced me in the Presidential suite.  No harm, no foul...or chicken of any kind.  My hotel is right in the middle of the financial district...very high end, as you can see from this photo...

I think this guy is a CEO of an AI company...

There are executives from all kinds of companies here...I had no idea...

I had no idea that this area is a hotbed of music videos...

You might think that TLD has gone off the reservation without Dora the Explorer accompanying me this trip, but I will assure you that it was a simple twitch of the shutter button to get that last shot...I hadn't even noticed that ridiculously attractive woman!

Let me introduce you to my travelling companions for this trip...Anne, a beautiful, former Miss Universe, and Dave, a clear Also Ran trophy husband...this is Anne and Dave as they ascend the staircase to get to my suite...

Here is TLD meeting with the Queen of Dharamashala...she normally doesn't hold court with celebrities, but would make an exception for The Lone DeRanger...
