Part 2....Meknes, Chefchaouen, then some more Chefchaouen today!

It's hard to believe that it's only the 3rd day of the tour...when I left off yesterday we were about to leave Rabat. Rabat was in the middle of soccer fever...Morocco was in the finals of the Africa Cup...People were pumped, and dressed up...
It was scoreless until the very end when someone from Senegal tripped the guy from Morocco, and he got a free kick! Senegal was outraged, and walked off the field, but soon came back. So the young kid lined up to take his kick, but on his approach, his shorts fell down around his knees, he tripped, and nudged the ball right at the goalie! As you can imagine, this was very disappointing for the Morocco fans. When Senegal scored to win shortly thereafter, they killed the kid that missed his shot...that's soccer! Then we were off to a town called Meknes, and another mosque tour...
This was kind of a plain one...
Then a little stroll through some scary parts of town...
That last one is Cassandra trying to buy drugs from the local dealer...and here's some more...
After Meknes, on our way to the Chef (Chefchaouen, known as the blue city...sort of blue, kinda), we stopped for these cool Roman ruins...
...and this lone tree (artsy, huh?)
...and this artsy one titled the "Divorce"...
...and of course the garbage man giving someone shit...
...Two late additions...
That's it for today!
