Venice, day 2

Well, after I wolfed down that dinner, Dora thought maybe something less refined for me...maybe the dog pound...hmmmmm. Anyway, we decided to take to the water today, and went to the islands of Burano(famous for lace), and Murano(famous for glass). Burano has all these colourful houses...obviously to attract the tourists...

...and they had some flowers, of course...

...but not all the paint was fresh...

Hey, did I mention that we have a pretty great room...

When we got back to Venice, is it just me, or do these all look the same...

We thought this guy was famous, so I took a pic, then some flowers, and art...

Off to Trieste tomorrow...time for a drink.
