Mumbai...day 1

Amigos, we have arrived in India!  As Casstonto points out, NOTHING can prepare you for it!  There was the first jolt of insanity when we took the cab from the airport...inches away from cars and motorcycles with no lights, no lanes, no apparent speed limits, and nothing the cab driver won't attempt!  I loved it!  Casstonto hasn't stopped screaming...and it's the next day!  One thing about India that's different from Japan...architecture...here are just a couple of buildings...
...and the people are pretty interesting too...
...and this guy had an upside down bicycle with a grinding stone attached, and was sharpening knives with it!
...and this guy was my favourite!
While we were wandering around, I decided it was time for a shave and a haircut...so here I am...
This guy was great, I tell ya...
...then a cow dropped by...
...and I got a little excited when he was doing this...
...then came the shave...
So we wandered around a little more, then collapsed in our hotel...too many close shaves.............piss off, I'm not feeling funny, ok?

    Sounds like cab rides in NYC. And why would I guy want to give you a shave and haircut while you're holding him up? Enjoy your adventure and get home safely. And happy new year.

      Believe me, this makes cab rides in NYC seem like turtle races...this was more like Mad Max on meth!

    Happy New Year's guys! Shave and a haircut, huh? Well, that seems a little safer than getting your teeth fixed! Although the scissors looked like they were about to take out your nose! :-O

      It created quite a stir...people taking photos, stopping to gawk, asking the guy what the hell I was doing there...it's hard to be a celebrity, ya know!

    I'm wear it to the next Mariners game...you'll really see what a celebrity I am...especially with the police, they love me! Oh, and he did get a chunk out...looked kind of like a chocolate bar!
