A Broadway play...

Well, we went off to Brooklyn yesterday...I had a shot I wanted to get, and here it is...
...and if you look carefully, you see the Empire State building right there perfectly framed...
...and all this is right next to the Brooklyn Bridge (the other bridge is the Manhattan Bridge)...
...and that is right next to this.........................WTF?
Of course before we went to Brooklyn, we got the cliche of all cliches...
...and some group was doing a fashion shoot right on the dock...
We met our friends Linda and Tom from Vancouver, for lunch in Brooklyn (where their beautiful daughter, Erin lives)...and I took some photos of her...

...and the restaurant we ate at had all these beautiful people working there...

...lunch was wonderful, as were the staff!  Then, we went back to the hotel to get ready to go to a Broadway show...it is called "Wicked"...I thought it was the story of Mario Andretti, and how wicked fast he drove...turns out it was about some green girl that was groped by Donald Trump and turned into a witch.  There was lots of singing and dancing that I mainly slept through because there wasn't a single car chase in the whole damned thing...they had guns in some of it but nobody shot anyone...that's un-American, isn't it?  Today we are going to the Metropolitan Museum...Cassandra sez they have pretty much every car chase ever filmed there...she takes care of me!  I want you all to give a shout out to my good buddy Tom in Seattle...his winky is wonky...get better Timmy!

  1. Stop whining about Times Square not being square, didn't you learn in school that Pie R Square? The picture you took of the bridge thingy with the pointy building inside it was pretty good even by my standards.
I hear that they are shooting a remake of Bullitt combined with Lethal Weapon 23 on Fifth Avenue tomorrow so you may get that excitement you are looking for.
PS I am glad you stopped taking pictures of floral arrangements and are back to shooting pretty women like Cassandra

  2. You really are absurdly good at this picture taking business. One of the things that really caught my eye was the young woman with the spur gear in her nose. And here I was thinking that only aircraft with tricycle undercarriage had nose gear: foolish me...

Cool how you got the Entire Empire State building under the bridge: sort of like water isn't it?

    1. That girl with the spur gear is Evil Knievel's granddaughter...the spur gear is a birth mark!
