You've got a lot of Galle...

First, I gotta show ya what we had for dinner last night..I know, it looks like a dogs breakfast, but boy, did it ever taste good.  This is a Sri Lankan fish curry...yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Anyway, we hired a car to bring us down to Galle...not being able to book a reserved train ticket is a pain in the ass!  Galle Fort is a cool old place...big walls, used to have big canons...those crazy Dutch really know how to built shit!

 ...Galle Fort is the old, completely walled city...quaint, but VERY touristy...

 ...some of you may think I don't take this history seriously, but I do!  I only make up the parts that I don't know about...and that's almost nothing.  So the Dutch came here a few years back to practice making big walls...ya know, to keep the ocean out and stuff.  Apparently, they figured it out, and went home after a while...they left a couple stores here though.  Did you know that the Dutch people in general are almost blind...they built REALLY big clocks because they couldn't see what time it was...

...Ray Charles could see that f'n clock!  Anyway, here are some of the people we saw...

 ...that last shot is of the back door to the fort...I think they brought  the hookers in through the back door because it's a long way from the church...pretty sure that's how it was.  Finished up with some shots of people watching the sun go down from the wall...

 ...oh, and just in case you think the Dutch had no taste, well look at this...doesn't get much better than this in Dutchland!
