But you will see huge Tata's all over the place...see...

...get your mind out of the gutter where the Tata's are!  Kandy is a tourist town...all kinds of scams and ripoffs.  We went to a Hindu Star Wars exhibit, and there was C3PO...well, kinda...

 ...I wasn't buying it.  Anyway, we got here by having our new buddy Ruwan drive us from Anuradhapura, rather than do the paint shaker again.  Sri Lanka is a beautiful country...some of the drive was through these tree tunnels...

...we stopped to see one of those fat guy statues.  Here are 4 photos of it...2 the way I see it, 2 the way it is...see if you can figure it out...

 Impressive in an under-construction kind of way.  Cassandra got one of those blessing things...I thought the guy was serving beer...he seemed offended when I wanted a cool one...WHAT?

 ...and some rather disturbing depictions of how they deal with bad people...(not for the faint of heart)

 ...HOLY CRAP...DID THEY DO WHAT I THINK THEY DID?  Yikes, let's haul some banana's instead...
