Last post for this trip...
We are still in Essaouira, but it's raining, and we will be driving back to Marrakech in it. We get in to Marrakech at 4, and have our last night in Morocco. Tomorrow, we fly to Paris for the night, then back to Toronto the next day! For the most part, it's been a great trip...full of "geez, never seen THAT before"! I have discovered how they came up with the name for Morocco! If you look cloesly at any of my landscape shots, you would see lots of this...
Get it? Mor rocc o.....oh geez, do I have to spell it out for you...More Rock Oh! Ok, forget it. So they surf in Essaouira...
We had dinner with Nellie and Andy (Australians) in a rooftop restaurant, overlooking the rather rough ocean...
...and this little old lady wanted to surf, but I talked her out of it...
Sunset was very nice...
After the sun went down, this guy was out on a rock that looked like he was about to get swept away...
...but didn't. That's it for Morocco!

ReplyDeleteI think he was having a pee. Bet he wouldn't have liked it if he knew you were taking his picture. Have a safe trip home. When you get back to Vancoouver we'll look at all your pictures and put away a couple bottles of wine.
